about

The song illustrates faint hope for revolution after the pandemic. ’Spring Comes’. 'The title is given based on the writer’s thoughts towards two historical periods, Prague Spring and Arab Spring.

The repeated phrase ‘I’m not sure but I think it’s spring’ is along the melody line of min’yo (traditional Japanese folk music). In addition to that, the accompaniment supports us to imagine the change of sceneries.
While the modular elements from the electronic guitar leaves melancholy, indigenous sound comes from conga, bells and double bass.

Maybe it does not stand out, but the song always be next to you to push your back a little.

‘Spring Comes’ is for theme song of the film "泣く子はいねぇが(Any Crybabies Around?)", which got the Jury Prize for Best Cinematography at San Sebastián International Film Festival.
